JARED KARNS

Introducing Jared Karns, a Christian music artist whose roots trace back to Carmi, Illinois. Growing up in a household deeply immersed in faith due to his grandfather’s role as a Pentecostal minister, music became an integral part of his life within the church walls. Initially drawn to percussion and drums, he soon found his passion expand to other instruments including piano, guitar, and bass.

However, it wasn’t until encountering The Hinsons’ “Lift The Roof Off” album, courtesy of his grandpa’s cassette tape collection, that Jared’s musical trajectory shifted. Hearing Kenny Hinson’s emotive vocals sparked a newfound desire to sing and emulate that captivating style. Over the years, he honed his craft, drawing inspiration not only from Kenny Hinson but also from luminaries like Michael English, marveling at their vocal control and prowess.
